Professional Licensing

Pricing depends on the type of content required and the usage rights required. Pricing for internal company use or a not-for-profit use will generally be lower than pricing for higher-exposure commercial uses, such as advertising.

The intended duration of the licence will also determine the price. The list of professional licensing uses can be found by registering for an account by clicking on the "Login / Register" button on top of the page. Once your account is approved you can access the complete list of pricing that is available.

Fairfax Media copyright articles published on our online mastheads, including The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age can be licensed through our Rightslink service.

This service is available via the Reprints and permissions button under Story Tools appearing on the left hand side of appropriate articles.

To obtain pricing, after clicking on Reprints and permissions, choose your use and request a quick price. You will need to register with Copyright Clearance Centres RightsLink service to license these articles.

Video and Multimedia

There are two pricing options available for video, Standard delivery and Premium delivery. These options relate to the way in which you wish to receive the content and pricing starts at $350 per video or multimedia.

Packaged content such as featured articles and associated images are available. Please email syndication@fairfaxmedia.com.au if your package is not available.

Home and Personal Use

Pricing for Consumer purchases is for Printed Photographs only. Pricing depends on the chosen print size of the image, and framing options.

Pricing for home use prints is as follows:

Approximate conversions: 6x8" = 15x20cm, 8x10" = 20x25cm, 12x16" = 30x40cm, 16x20" = 40x50cm

For framed pictures, the price includes having the print delivered by a courier.
